Even so, it can still be dangerous,
your traction can suddenly change to slipperyness.

Here are the driving instructions to get to
the best nature hiking parts
of the Singhampton Caves and Caverns
|
|
Pack a flashlight for the caves, and some snacks.
From the 400 Hwy, in Ontario, Canada,
get off and turn left on Bayfield St. in Barrie (Hwy. 26 & 27)
Go north past Barrie, and turn left with Hwy. 26 in Midhurst.
Follow 26 west to Stayner. Then keep going straight (Hwy. 91) west to
Duntroon.
Duntroon is on the Trail Map at the top of this page.
Also if you have a map of Ontario look a little south of Collingwood for Duntroon.
Continue west a couple more blocks. Turn right, and there is parking at
the end of the road.
Or from there you can drive on the gravel streets to the parking which
is just beside the caves.
That is at the top left corner of the trail map.
The trail around there has magnificent scenery, cliffs, and caves.
Don't forget your camera!
