Increasing Your Mining Level

The fastest way to increase your mining level is by power mining! The best way to do this is with iron ore (meaning you already have to have at least a level 15 mining level). The way you power mine is by repeated going back and fourth between three iron ore rocks. If you can get iron ore with one hit of your pick axe, the first iron ore will come back ready for you to hit it again just after you have gotten the other two rocks. But!!, the secret about power mining is that you do not return to your bank after your inventory fills up. Instead you either drop the ore onto the ground or you can trade it to people for free. This probly sounds like a bad idea and that you will be losing money. But I can tell you it works. My character has level 78 mining and I’ve used this technique a lot to get to this level. And now that I have a high mining level, I can mine mith and addy ores without a problem. Which makes a lot of quick money, as people will buy addy for about 1k (1000gp) each. . Some good places for power mining are: 1. The mining place just south of varrock east bank. 2. In the dwarves mines by the 2 mithral rocks around with the scorpions. 3. And in the mining place just north of Rimmington/ west of port sarim.
