Description: Our firm developed four separate design schemes each with 41 rooms. Several disparate functions were incorporated into one building, including base security with holding cells, front office functions, meeting rooms, general office areas and computer message centre. We worked with Hanscomb Cost consultants on this job.

Description: A "community room" was incorporated into the design to bring the public into the station. A second storey was designed over the existing first storey. We worked closely with the police to design to the latest policing standards. We toured other police stations together to look for the best and latest ideas that could be incorporated within the specified budget

Rural Fire Station Proposal - Oro-Medonte

Budget Price: $537,000. ($61.80 / sq. Ft.)
Description: A rural architectural style was developed to blend with the surrounding architecture. After our firm was told we were first choice, council decided to go Design-Build to reduce costs further. A pre-eng. building was eventually constructed.

Discovery Harbour - Penetanguishene, Ontario

Description: Discovery Harbour ( formerly known as The Historic & Military Navel Establishments ) is located on the shores of Georgian Bay in the town of Penetanguishene. This waterfront re-development project provides enhanced pedestrian circulation to the main docks and their resident tall ships, as well as to the on site restaurant and performing arts theatre.
The project was desiged as to enable the construction process to be carried out in its entirety or by stages as funding became available.

Midhurst United Church (1993)

Description: This project involved an addition and renovations to a 100 year old church. The addition was to be a multi-purpose area which could work as a large sanctuary, a banquet hall, a meeting room and a games room. The new addition is larger than the existing old church yet it blends well with the existing architecture.
