It was time to go to school,

But I was lounging in the pool.

When I got out, my mother did shout.

I was grounded for seven days,

I couldn't play with my pet stingrays.

When one week was done,

I had lots and lots of fun!

One thing I did was play baseball,

After that I went to the mall.

The next day I felt like getting into trouble.

So I didn't really mumble, that…it was time to go to school,

But I was lounging in the pool!!!
